INDICATIONS:

For the treatment and prevention of all infectious processes that occur with inflammatory reaction, pain and fever. Systemic and local infections, bronchopneumonia, mastitis, bacterial enteritis, arthritis, osteoarthritis, urinary tract infection, prostatitis, pododermatitis, keratoconjunctivitis, and others. Nonspecific bacterial and secondary to viral diseases infections.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:

It may be administered through deep or subcutaneous intramuscular route. 1 ml/kg body weight (20 mg/kg oxytetracycline and 3 mg/kg ketoprophene) as single dose. Although due to product characteristics only one application is required in most part of the cases, some cases may require a second application after 48 hours. It persists, it is convenient to reevaluate the diagnosis.

In intramuscular and subcutaneous applications, the volume must be adjusted to the age and size of the animal so that younger animals will be injected from 1 to 4 ml only, depending on the place of injection. No more than 10 ml per place of injection must be applied in adult cattle, sheep and adult camelids. Each injection requires a sterile needle and syringe which shall be completely clean (they must be sterilized by boiling them in water for 15 minutes). Before taking the solution out from the vial, disinfect the rim of the bottle with an adequate disinfectant such as alcohol at 70%.

In the same way, the place of injection must be also disinfected. Needles measuring 16 to 18 that have a usual length of 1 to 1 12 inches are the most suitable for the cattle. Injections administered through intramuscular route must be injected by introducing a needle having the proper size and length characteristics in the fleshy part of a thick muscle such as the haunches, hip of some parts of the muscle; avoid nerves. The treatment must be applied as soon as the first symptoms appears.
